Managers at the healthcare company frequently misassigned "Express Class" trainings, meant for customers, to internal employees. Each incorrect assignment cost the company $300, leading to $5,000 in unnecessary expenses monthly. Despite efforts to alert managers via email and manual interventions, the issue persisted, with 15-16 incorrect training assignments occurring each month. This lack of awareness and oversight caused significant financial strain and wasted resources.

The company implemented Whatfix Beacons on all Express Class trainings, alerting managers in-app when they interacted with these trainings, reminding them not to assign them to internal employees. Additionally, Whatfix Product Analytics tracked manager actions on the "add" and "remove" training buttons, allowing the L&D team to identify where the friction occurred and understand why incorrect assignments were being made.
